I dreamed that Elizabeth my ex-wife was here in the living room of my house and I don’t know if she was visiting, but she was setting up a Christmas tree and it wasn’t Christmas time but she was doing it because she had some family coming into town or friends as she thought she needed to have Christmas for them. So she took out a fake tree and set it up and put some stuff under the tree. And then perhaps it was the next morning her friends were here or I think it was her cousin Michelle actually who was here and she told me that this was not my house and in reality it is not she owns it and I rent from her. And I told her that if it’s not my house, then I don’t have a home and what she said was really unkind and I told her that she could get the fuck out. It was the first time that I’ve set a boundary with her and called her on her insensitivity toward me. She got quiet and didn’t respond. Then she was telling Michelle and I about her nonprofit that was I think using equine therapy to help people maybe kids I’m not sure but she was looking for a ranch property anywhere in the west and she showed me the brochure for her nonprofit and then Aiden came in the house as if he had been out all night or maybe he had just gotten up. It was about 8:30 in the morning somehow I knew that it was 8:30 in the morning. I was proud of myself for standing up to Elizabeth firmly and clearly I thought to myself in the dream that it was the first time that I had pushed back on her insensitivity and then I woke up.
